JOZEF WDOWIAK Peacefully on November 6, 2014, Jozef passed away at St. Joseph's Residence at the age of 92 years. Jozef Wdowiak was born in Tarnawica Polna on July 28, 1922. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Ludwika of 67 years; children Maria (Henry), Chester (Anne), Judi, Ed, Tony (Carolyn); grandchildren Diane (Martin), Mark (Nicole), Alanna (Brian), Jennifer, Joe, Nico, Kolby; great-grandchildren Emilia, Klara, Alexander, Avery; brother Marian in Poland; brother-in-law Marian (Valeria). He also will be sadly missed by relatives and friends in Canada and Poland. Jozef was predeceased by his son John. A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff at St. Joseph's Residence and Riverview Health Centre for their care and compassion. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 12 at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Cantius Roman Catholic Church, 846 Burrows Avenue. Mrs. Wdowiak and family our most heartfelt condolences to you all on your loss. We will always remember the tables at Garden City where all of you gathered with friends for a cup of coffee and just a chat to socialize with each other.
