I am saddened to hear the news about Tom. He was our stick boy from Charleswood Hawks days in the seventies. He always had a smile on his face and would do anything to help a person out. I have lots of good memories of the Duke. Steve Spanky Hillier - Posted by: Steve Hillier (friend) on: Nov 22, 2014

Our sincere condolences to the Duncan family. Duke was a good friend and we had many a laugh and good time with him. We lost contact as time passed but he always remained in our hearts. Deeply feeling this loss. Rest in peace Duke. - Posted by: Ross and Wendy Marsch (Friends) on: Nov 16, 2014

I'm so sorry to hear of Tom's passing, I played hockey with the Duke in the late 70s. He had a BIG heart on and off of the ice, he earned the respect of opposing players and everyone loved him for his sense of humour. I wish I had more contact with Tom in the past couple of decades but I know that his was the type of friendship that would not be eroded by time. Rest in peace my old friend, you are loved and will be missed... - Posted by: Rob McDonald (Friend) on: Nov 14, 2014

It is very sad to hear this news about Tom. My deepest sympathies to all of the Duncans. I played hockey, worked with and had many great times with Tom. During those years there was no one who was a more willing and gracious friend than Tom. - Posted by: Tim Dyck (Friend) on: Nov 12, 2014

My sincere condolences go out to the Duncan family. Many fun filled days of my youth were spent with Tom "Duke" Duncan. Going to High School with Tommy and playing hockey and other sports were always more enjoyable when Tom was around and I will never forget "The Duke". Rest In Peace my friend. - Posted by: greg kostenko (friend ) on: Nov 11, 2014
