JORGE H. AVILA On November 6, 2014, at Seven Oaks Hospital, Jorge, beloved husband, father, brother, son, son-in-law, and uncle passed away at the age of 59 years surrounded by family and friends. Besides his wife Hortensi Avila, he is survived by his sons Richard (Melissa) and Paul. He also leaves to mourn his sisters Maria Inês Meneses (Fernando Meneses), Lizilda Aguiar (Mateus Aguiar), Graciomilde Melo (Francisco Melo), and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Armindo Nunes De Avila and Teresa De Meneses Goto. The family would like to thank the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital, and the staff at CancerCare who went above and beyond to help Jorge through a difficult time. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 10 at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin Street N.
