I met Orest when I was about 9 years old @ Sunset Bay. I played with Stephanie & Natalka lots. I loved coming over and going in the treehouse that Orest had built them. As the years have gone I have begun to think of the Romancyshyns as a family. I love everytime I see them at the cabin. I will miss Orest more then words can say. He was a great man & thank you for being in my life, plus my kids' life. RIP.xoxoxo - Posted by: Christina Azevedo (a long time family friend (cabin/good friend to his girls)) on: Nov 19, 2014

I am so saddened to hear of your loss with the passing of Orest. What a wonderful individual he was. I will always remember him as a kind; gentle, helpful man with a great sense of humor. My memories of him are mostly through CYM and the help with camps. He always made me laugh and always had a word or two to lighten up hard moments. I wish I could find those words to console you all now. May you find Orest is not gone as he will always be alive in you hearts. What a wonderful life to celebrate, what a special person to remember with love. May you find peace knowing that your beloved Orest is in peace and causing a stir in his new home in heaven where we will all meet again! My thoughts and prayers are with you.
