JEANNE ANNETTE BRUCE It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Jeanne Bruce of St. Laurent , MB age 94 years on Sunday, November 16, 2014. Survived by children; Myrna (Wayne), Doreen (Laurent), Gisele (Bob), Carol (Monty), Barbara (Mallory), Kathleen (Greg), Gerry (Sandra), Lucille, Jeannette, Ron (Yvette), daughter-in-law Fleurette, 22 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren Predeceased by her husband Arthur, son Jim, two sons-in-law Steven and Larry and grandson Brent. Also predeceased by her brothers; Romuald, Ambroise, Ubald, Gerard, sisters; Aurise, Antoinnette and Marie-Anna. Born January 4, 1920 at St. Boniface and lived all her life in St. Laurent, MB. Mom was an incredible gifted woman who had a tremendous amount of compassion, love and passion for life. She was always kind and generous to everyone she met. Mom was the postmaster in St. Laurent for many years. She was a dedicated and loyal member of the community. Funeral service will be held on Thursday November 20, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Laurent Roman Catholic Church. Interment to take place in the Parish Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba 10-120 Donald St. Winnipeg MB R3C 9Z9 The family would like to express their gratitude to Residence Despins and St. Joseph's Nursing Home where mom resided for the past several years. We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital, 5th floor, unit 3, for their attention, care and compassion.
