STEVE SENIUK It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our much loved father, grandfather, godfather and good friend on November 19, 2014 at the Arborg Assisted Living at the age of 84. Steve was born and raised on the farm in Oak Brae, Manitoba. He leaves to mourn two children Kenny (Bonnie), Marlene (Jeff), two grandchildren, Kaitlin and Stephanie, two sisters Mary Sawchuk of Dauphin, MB, and Eileen Dutchak of Prince George, BC, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Nettie in 2006. Also predeceased by his parents Roman and Nellie, several brothers and sister Ann. Steve was a retired farmer and resided in Shorncliffe until moving to Arborg. Steve was a kind hearted and generous man who loved to tell stories and enjoyed the company of family and friends. He looked forward to spending time having coffee at the Co-op. Steve had a special friend Elsie, who gave him never-ending comfort and companionship. He enjoyed the time they spent together on short trips to Dauphin to visit family, and on special occasions. Going on bus trips to Belcourt, North Dakota at the Skydancer Casino, dinner and dances, bingo nights at the Fraserwood Hall, functions at St. Basil's Church and going for drives in the country. Steve will be missed and always remembered. Pallbearers are Bert DeRuyck, Lawrence Tymoshchuk, Curtis Schettler, Kevin Miller, Michael Kuzyk, and Bryson Schettler. Sincere thanks to all the homecare workers and Assisted Living staff, as well as Dr. Kashefi and all the staff at the Arborg and District Health Centre Clinic and Hospital. Funeral service will be held at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Arborg, Manitoba on November 29, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mary Thorarinson Estates Assisted Living or the Arborg and District Health Centre.
