ANNE WILCHOWY (nee FREJUK) 1919 - 2014 After a brief illness, Anne Wilchowy passed away on Tuesday, November 25 to join her loving husband Carl and beloved daughter Sandra. Anne will be missed by her daughter, Carol Procyshyn (Bill) of Roblin MB; brother, Peter Frejuk (Rita); son-in-law, George Bernie; sister-in-law, Lillian of Canora, SK; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Carl; daughter, Sandra; brother, Nick (Helen); sister, Marie; and her parents, John and Anastasia Frejuk. Anne was born February 18, 1919 to Ukrainian immigrant parents and was very proud of her heritage. She was a member of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church for many years and had many beautiful Ukrainian ornaments adorning her home. Anne married Carl and had two daughters, Carol and Sandra. They worked together in the dry cleaning business living in Dawson Creek, Fort St. John, Dauphin, and Winnipeg. Anne and Carl were inseparable and had a loving happy marriage for 55 years. Anne kept busy by reading her favourite Harlequin books, watching her afternoon soap operas and sports events, growing her violets, and keeping an eye on the neighbourhood. She was blessed to be able to live in her own home until six months ago thanks to her devoted brother Peter who took great care of her. A special thank you to Park Manor Personal Care Home for their great care these last few months. As per Anne's request, a memorial service will be held in the spring.
