Grace is survived by her loving husband of 63 years Peter; her children Susan, Gwen, Carl and Jacqueline; her grandchildren Christa, Ginger, Kenneth, Nicolas, Heather, Allisa and Valerie; and her great-grandchildren Jonas and Daniel. Grace was a successful small business woman and was well-known in certain circles as partner of Peter Pan Wood Cake Pans®. Grace was a wonderful and talented homemaker. She is remembered fondly by her children for being devoted, loving and always teaching. Grace was doing organic gardening before it was mainstream'; she loved to share her bounty with her family. Grace was known for her kind nature and supportive chats; she will always be remembered for her capacity for empathy. We would like to thank the emergency responders and hospital staff of Grace Hospital for their care, kindness and support. Grace was always a mother hen to me and my siblings. I fondly remember the summers we spent at Winnipeg beach. I will miss you and I'm so sorry that we didn't spend more time together in the latter years. You are my big sister and you always babied me because I was your baby brother. I looked up to you and will love you always and forever my big sister. Love Lloyd - Posted by: Lloyd Good and family (Brother) on: Apr 07, 2015

We have known Grace since the early 1960's and spent many a weekend with her and Peter helping build the cottage at the lake, and many a weekend visiting back in forth when we lived in Transcona. She was the most generous, loving, mild person and we have wonderful memories of our time together. Our deepest sympathy to Peter and the family, All our love, Gerry & Alice. - Posted by: Gerry & Alice Sawyer (friends) on: Dec 21, 2014

As a childhood friend of her daughter, Susan, I have known Grace almost all my life. She was always kind, soft-spoken and gentle, but with an inner strength. I remember that she liked to listen to classical music in the afternoons. She was happy with Peter and all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren around her - a life well lived. - Posted by: Judy Bond (Family friend) on: Dec 18, 2014
