CASIMER MARTINI September 5, 1925 - December 18, 2014 Casimer passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at age 89 in East-Gate Lodge Personal Care Home, Beausejour, MB. He is predeceased by his parents Frank and Katie; his brothers Anton and Peter and sister Leona. He leaves to mourn his passing: his sons Bruce and Kenneth (Shelley); his stepdaughter Eileen; their mother Dorothy; grandchildren Sara, Frank, Dustin, Jonathan (Heather), Lorissa, Ben (Katrina). He is survived by his sisters Rose, Agnes, Helen, and Bernice (Henry) as well as many extended family. Dad was born and lived in Ladywood, MB where he spent many years on the family farm before moving to Winnipeg to work for Versatile, building farm equipment. In his retirement, he once again enjoyed spending his time on the farm and with his grandchildren. He was well known for his lighthearted joking nature and was always able to brighten the day of those around him with humour. In later years, his daily walks and visiting were his passions. He will be dearly missed. The family would like to thank the Lions Lodge and most recently East-Gate Lodge for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel in Beausejour, MB. Flowers and donations gratefully declined.
