CHRISTINA LUMSDEN Peacefully, on Saturday, December 20, 2014, Christina Lumsden, aged 100, passed away at Donwood Manor Personal Care Home. She is survived by daughter Heather (Wayne) Thorpe of Oakville, ON; son Jack (Donna) Lumsden of Winkler, MB; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Christina was predeceased by husband Jack in 2002. Memorial service will be held in the spring of 2015.

  • Auntie Chris has been involved in my life from the time I was born but has also been my best friend for over 25 years. We had a special bond and I was fortunate to be able to spend many hours with her. We had lots of fun times and could discuss anything. She had a wonderful life and is now at rest.   • Mrs Lumsden was such a integral part of my life. I was treated as her daughter and loved her so much. My best memory is leaving their home on Hazeldell to go back to residence or to work and she would always stand aT the door and watch me walk down the street and we would wave to each other.
