Dr McQueen was an inspiration to me. ..I saw a woman doctor and a mother, which was a novelty in small town Belmont. She was a lady with a difference. Always remembered by Deanna - Posted by: Deanna Burton (Dyck) (babysitter to Janet, Ross and Caron) on: Jul 22, 2015

I'm so sorry I missed the celebration of Dr Beryl's life yesterday, as it would have been wonderful to reconnect with Dr David, Janet, Ross and Caron and celebrate such a great lady. I've known Dr Beryl for most of my life, as my friend's mother, a physician, a mentor, a great sailor and a perfect foil for Dr David. Somehow she was able to balance all her passions and priorities and was to me a tremendous role model. Both my husband, Bob, and I were recipients of the McQueen hospitality, as were many of our friends, whether at the Pelican Lake cottage, various sailboats or their home. Dr Beryl had a wonderful generosity of spirit and our lives are much richer for having known her. Our deepest sympathy to Dr David and the family in your loss of a wonderful wife and mother. - Posted by: Margaret Sullivan (Family friend) on: Dec 30, 2014

All of the previous comments portray Dr. McQueen as she was: caring, compassionate, respected, a personal friend, she made a positive difference, was a true lady, was a dedicated Dr., concerned, respectful, and lived with class. She almost always greeted others with a warm and radiant smile. Her family and this world have lost a wonderful woman. - Posted by: Kathy Turner (Colleague) on: Dec 29, 2014
