SHALISA KAYLENE RYAN It is with great sadness that we announce that Shalisa, born in Winnipeg on June 9, 1996 (6-9-96), passed away on January 11, 2015 (1-11-15). She is survived by her mother Melissa Klassen; father Jeff Ryan; and stepdad Brian Klassen; as well as grandparents Barton Busath, Jacky Ryan and Jack Ryan; and step-grandparents Bill and Kathy Kozak. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Westwood Community Church, 401 Westwood Drive, Winnipeg. Donations can be made to the Manitoba Suicide Line, c/o Unit 1, 217 10th St., Brandon, MB R7A 4E9, envelopes available at the service.

  • We had the pleasure of getting to know Shalisa over the last year; and it still doesn't seem real that I won't be hearing her laughter coming up the stairs late at night anymore. She wore the best socks; and made the best omelettes. I've always known her to be sweet; kind; helpful and fun; and will be missed deeply by so many.
