JOHN W. MADSEN 1946 - 2015 It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of John W. Madsen on January 11, 2015, in his 69th year. John was born March 17, 1946, in Port Arthur, Ontario, to John and Cecilia Madsen. John was predeceased by his parents John and Cecilia and by his partner, Dianne M. Bouteiller. He is survived by his brothers Doug (Christine), Wallace (Margaret) and Lesley (Sheri); and many nieces and nephews. John was an electrician by trade and he was a proud 40 year member of Local 2085. In keeping with John's wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. Interment will be at Green Acres Cemetery in the spring of 2015. If friends so wish, donations may be made to D'Arcy's A.R.C, 730B Century Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3H 0M1 in memory of John. My condolences to you all, Doug and Chrissie, Wally and Margaret, Les and Sheri. It's a shock to hear that someone who grew up at the same time is gone. I don't know why but I remember, as teenagers, going to a movie downtown with Billy when he was wearing an impressive pair of Zoot pants. And I know how much my Dad and Mom appreciated all the help that Billy (and you, Doug) gave them in the electrical system at the cottage.
