Cremation has taken place. Plans for service have changed to June 6, 2015 to accommodate extended family. A full obituary will follow.

Ron always brought a smile to my face whenever he emailed or stopped in for a chat. It always amazed me that even when others would be wearing pants Ron would have on his shorts - ready for the golf course! Ron was a unique individual who always impressed me in how diligently he approached anything that he undertook. His discipline and work effort were pretty much unparalleled. It was not hard to feel like you were not keeping up when working next to him and Gwen at winter nursery in New Zealand. I always valued his opinion and appreciated his wisedom and expertise.
