NANCY ELBERA LOTZ
Born: Mar 09, 1941
Date of Passing: Jan 17, 2015
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNANCY ELBERA LOTZ March 9, 1941 January 17, 2015 With great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Nancy Elbera Lotz, beloved wife of Jakob Lotz for 52 years, mother of Andrew (Karen), Jason, Bahia (Jim), and her seven grandchildren, Amber, Austin, Jackson, Andera, Hanna, Aubrey and Nigel. Nancy passed on the evening of January 17 with her family by her side. "Elbera" was well known in Winnipeg for her tarot card reading and her belly dancing studio. Often called upon by the media, Elbera would share her predictions on the year to come, the fate of our Winnipeg Blue Bombers, the Winnipeg Jets, and our local government. One of Nancy's passions was her love of cooking. Her specialty was her Lebanese dishes that she proudly shared at gatherings with family and friends. These recipes will always be treasured. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held later this summer. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044

I'm so sorry to hear of your sudden loss Jake. Thank you for always taking the time to be there for Betty and my mom and dad. I truly understand the difficult time you are facing since the sudden and recent loss of my mom. My dad would look forward to a call and a chat over coffee. Take care. Danielle and family. - Posted by: Danielle Sperber-Jeffrey (Family friend) on: Jan 25, 2015

Our deepest sympathies for your unexpected loss. I have many fond memories of time spent with Nancy. The last time I was in Winnipeg she offered to drive me to the airport and we stopped and had a coffee and, of course, a chat. She will be remembered as a loving family member and most of all as a friend. Winnipeg won't be the same without her! All our love and God's blessings. - Posted by: Elizabeth & Gordon Greb, Lisa, Brad and Evie Maurice (sister-in-law and family) on: Jan 25, 2015
