Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHARINA PAULS April 27, 1923 January 17, 2015 On Saturday, January 17, 2015, Katharina Pauls (nee Berg) passed away peacefully at Donwood Personal Care Home at the age of 91. Katharina was born April 27, l923 in the village of Marianthal, Molotshna in the Ukraine. Her parents were Johann (Isaak) Berg and Katharina Berg (nee Epp). They had four children: Lena, Lydia, Isaak and Katharina. She was predeceased by her husband Dietrich Pauls in 2009; two sisters; a brother in infancy and many nephews and nieces. She is survived by her adopted sister Lydia Wiebe in BC; her niece Tina Goerzen in Germany; her children Erna Thiessen (Henry), Irene Wiebe, Alvin Pauls; four grandchildren Cheri (Marc), Rod (Carolyne), Dan, Mike (Kelly); and great- grandchildren Brittney, Thomas, Cole, Isabelle and Riel. The family would like to thank the wonderful, caring 1st floor staff at Donwood Manor Personal Care Home for their excellent care. A Celebration of her life will be held Saturday, January 24 at 10:30 a.m. at Sargent Avenue Mennonite Church, 926 Garfield Street, Winnipeg with viewing prior to the service. Interment in Sargent Avenue Mennonite Church Cemetery in Springstein. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Donwood Personal Care Home.
