Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEVELYN LISOWESKI (nee JEROWSKY) Evelyn Lisoweski passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015 (5:55 p.m.) peacefully at St. Joseph's Residence, at the age of 101 years. The family is grateful to the staff at St. Joseph's Residence for the personal care of Evelyn. Wife of Stephen Lisoweski (deceased), she is survived by her son Barry Robert and daughter-in-law Judith Marion of Hamilton, ON; grandson Bradley Charles and his wife Donna, and great-granddaughter Claire of Burlington, ON; two brothers Don Jerowsky and wife Evelyn of Campbell River, BC and Ed Jerowsky and wife Diane of Sherwood Park, AB; nieces Gail Lisoweski of Burnaby, BC and Sandra Maki of Deerfield, MA, USA; nephews Robert and Richard Taylor of Winnipeg, MBm and sister-in-law, Dolly (Ida) Jerowsky of Waterdown, ON. Evelyn was a member of the United Atlantic Garden City Church, Winnipeg. She was a member of the W/O Sr. NCO's wives club. During the war Evelyn worked (voluntary) in the Airman's Club Ladies 402, also did hospital visits for the sick airmen, as well as knitting for those overseas. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 24 at 9:30 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg, MB with Funeral Service to follow. Interment at Glen Eden Funeral Home & Cemetery, 4477 Main Street, West St Paul, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044
