I'm sure we had never met, but I heard of her contributions to our family history at Chatfield, where my Dad was born. My Dad was Johnny, son of Jacob Dudych and Mary (nee Dudych!) Reading above that there are relatives in the US, my guess is that we are related through Jacob's side. Jacob had a brother John, whose children lived mostly in BC and in Chicago area. My sister saw the obituary and sent it to me, since we share the same first name as well. I will keep her soul in my prayers, as well as all of you, her grieving family. - Posted by: Sr. Christine Dudych, ssmi (distant cousin / niece xth time removed?) on: Jan 27, 2015

I have so many fond memories of Aunty Chris. Most of us remember her by her association with green onions and a bowl of salt. She handmade two teddy bears for our children, Tyler and Janelle, which we still have 36 years later and will cherish even more with her passing. Family was important to her and she had a way of making you feel that special connection you shared with her. - Posted by: Jo-Ann Anakotta (Dudych) (Niece) on: Jan 27, 2015

25 years ago Mom walked from 586 Academy Rd to 444 Oxford St to check me out. I had come from Calgary w/3 children & a cat. Who was her son welcoming into his life & home? I opened the door to a woman who was so pretty with her red lips, white hair, purse slung over her shoulder. We became friends that day & every day after that. What was not to love? She was the best and will always be in our hearts. For me it was love at first sight. - Posted by: Carol Dudych (Daughter-in-law) on: Jan 22, 2015
