Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOLIVE OSADCHUK 1919-2015 Artist, cook, party-planner, decorator, wife, mother, sister, aunt, friend - all of these were Olive and much more. Now she is our angel. On Monday, January 19, 2015 at Fred Douglas Lodge, Mom passed on to be with her Lord and Saviour. Olive Dorosh was born in Winnipeg on May 25, 1919. She married William Osadchuk and they had three daughters, Elaine, Sherry and Pamela. Mom had an eye for beauty; painting was a talent, decorating, sewing, gardening - anything creative. Being very sociable, she loved church, travel, games, dancing and music. Dad and she camped at Falcon Lake for many years, and later Wendigo. Friends and family were always welcome. An excellent bowler at Mosienko Lanes, she had two perfect games. She and Dad were also foster parents to many children for years and later Mom had a foster child through World Vision. Olive was predeceased by her five sisters and brother, infant daughter Pamela, and her loving husband Bill. She is survived by daughters, Elaine (Ken) and Sherry (Rick), grandsons, Dan (Wanda) and Neal, and great-grandchildren, Enna, Bryson and Carter, special niece Jacki (Jerry), nieces, nephews, and many friends. Thank you to all the staff at Fred Douglas Lodge, Dr. Cheung and Pastor Paul PetersDerry and Pastor Jim Poirier for their kindness and care. Olive's close friends and family are invited to celebrate her life in the Chapel at Fred Douglas Lodge at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, January 26, 2015. Donations in Olive's honour can be made to World Vision, The Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of one's choice. Forever Loved 204-586-8044
