Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGLEN DAVID ROSS April 24, 1950 - January 22, 2015 Glen was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on April 24, 1950 and sadly passed away on January 22, 2015 at St. Boniface Hospital. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Glen knew that he excelled in being honest, respectful, patient and had great strength of character. He always found the good qualities in people. He was very giving of his time and listening skills to everyone, especially his grandchildren Ronin, Roxy, Scotlynn, Liam and Scotia. At the age of eight, Glen had a paper route and started working at Hartford Drugs as a delivery boy. As a young man, he began a career at Canada Safeway and moved into sales with Peak Frean and Seven Cities, and finally started his own business, Glen D. Ross Agencies. Not only was he proud of his achievements, but he hired his children to work with him so that he could spend more time with them. Glen was predeceased by his parents, Sadie and Ron Ross and his siblings Susan Gabbs and Ken Ross. Glen will be greatly missed by his devoted wife of 43 years, Frances, and his children Jason (Karin), Brian (Tamara) and Christine (Jarred). He is also survived by his sisters, Laura Ross and Marnie (Volker) Ross-Arnold, sisters-in-law Joyce and Cindy, brothers-in-law Jim and Volker, and many nieces, nephews and too many friends and business associates to mention. Very special thanks are extended to the staff at Glen D. Ross Agencies who have worked very hard to keep his business successful in spite of Glen's illness and during this trying time. Thanks also to the amazing medical staff of the Renal Unit and I.C.U. at the Asper Centre, St. Boniface Hospital. A funeral service will be on Tuesday, January 27 at 1:00 p.m. at the North Kildonan Mennonite Brethren Church at 1315 Gateway Road. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Manitoba or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba would be appreciated by the family.

As we move into our second year without you Dad, I find it hard to believe that so much time has gone by. I can still see your smile, feel your warm hugs through my dreams and sometimes hear your belly laughs when something great happens. You are so far but we keep you very near to our hearts. You are thought of every moment of the day and I take you every where. We still share your stories with our girls and the other grandkids to keep your memory alive. You are sorely missed and there's not a day that goes by that I haven't reflected on our talks, your advice and everything you were to us. Missing you... love you. - Posted by: Christine, his favourite daughter (Daughter) on: Jan 02, 2017

GLEN and I knew each other since Jr. High School. We became good friends. After a while he got married and started a family. During this time he went through many different times as all of us, we got to know his family and some of his new friends. We enjoyed hanging out shooting pool, card playing, fishing, partying, etc. We send our deepest sympathy to FRAN & her family. We will miss GLEN and his laughter R.I.P.
