• I first knew Gord when I saw him in the hardware store on Pioneer Ave (formally Notre Dame E) I was at the MTS on Portge E. I was pleased to meet him again when I arrived on Monck Ave. He taught me the pleasures of living in Norwood. A great neighbour. Our condolences go out to you Diane and the family. • I will never forget Gord's wonderful deep warm voice...and his laughter. When Gerry Russell introduced Gord to me in 1987, I can remember his voice first and foremost, and secondly his warm personality. Over the decades since, as I came to know Gord better, he was one whom could always be said, "I always felt better coming into his presence, and always sorry that I had to leave."
