ANTHONY OKURLEY It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Anthony Okurley on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at the age of 93 at Holy Family Home. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Joan (Thanis), Sharon(Ray) and Shelly (James), six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, brother Joe and sister Eva. Anthony was predeceased by his wife Mary in 1996. Anthony was born in Polson, MB on March 20, 1921. He was one of nine children and grew up on the family farm. He moved to Winnipeg and worked as a Carman for 33 years with CP Rail. He enjoyed his cottage at Hillside Beach, where he spent many summers with family and friends. He enjoyed bowling, watching baseball and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family thanks the staff on A3 at Holy Family Home for their loving care. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 11 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. In lieu of flowers, donations in Anthony's memory may be made to the Canadian Lung Association. 204-586-8044
