FRANK (FRANZ) FRIEDRICH February 16, 1925 February 15, 2015 It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Frank Friedrich with family at his side. Frank was predeceased by his loving wife of 63 years Hilda; his parents Georg and Helene; his brother Georg; his brothers-in-law, Horst and Eddy Fartaczek; his niece Ingrid and his son-in-law Garry Dutchak. Left to cherish his memory are his children Rositha (Rheal), Frank (Elizabeth), Helen, and Betty (Marcel); his grandchildren Tera (Steve), Janessa (Jon), Kyle and Kirstin (Jerrel); his eight great-grandchildren; his sister Dori; his in-laws Hedwig (Eugen), Inge (Franz-Josef), Traudl (Michael) and Ernst as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. Frank was born in Resita, Romania. He met the love of his life in Austria and was married in 1948. They immigrated to Canada in 1954 and made their new home in Winnipeg. He had started his own painting and decorating business which he worked at until he retired at age 65. Dad had a love for music and could play many instruments. He was a very gifted artist whose every brush stroke brought life to each canvas he ever touched. Mom and Dad loved to travel and visited many places. Thank you Dad for all the hard work that you've done and the memories that we will always treasure. We love you and will miss you deeply. A private family service will be at Green Acres Funeral Home; Highway #1 East at Navin Road.
