Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIAN KOSTIUK (nee NAWROCKI) December 12, 1933 - February 25, 2015 Suddenly on February 24, 2015, Marian Diane Kostiuk passed away at the age of 81 years. She was predeceased by her loving husband Robert Michael Kostiuk. Left to mourn are her children: daughter Janis; son Glen; granddaughter Carlee, and many family members and friends. Marian was born and raised in Winnipeg. She met Robert at the age of 19 and they married in 1953. Marian worked briefly at MTS, but her most rewarding job was her role as a loving mother and wife. Mom loved sports and was still active in curling and lawn bowling. She was an avid walker and enjoyed outings with her close circle of friends. We love you, Mama, Grandma. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on March 3, 2015 at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. #1 East at Navin Road, Winnipeg, MB. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, Suite 200, Winnipeg, MB, R3L 0K6.
