Randy, Barb Brad and Brenda and families. So sorry to hear of the loss of your father, father in-law, and grandfather. A fathers spirit carries on in the hearts of his children and grandchildren. Even though his spirit had passed, his true self passed long before. Remember all the good days. Remember only the good days. He has lived different lives, both important, yet both different. He is two different fathers. Both having great significance. Love both because both are who he was. You all carry on his legacy. Remember both but don't dwell on the later. A fathers knows what he has been taught. He was a great teacher and you have carried that on to your children, and they will carry it on to theirs. Be proud of yourself and of all your teachings. Judi Cherniak, friend of family P.242-243 Art education is powerful. Whether students are creating art withan art specialist in an art room or working across the curriculum with a classroom teacher, art can can reach deep inside them like nothing else. One important 21st century skill we can help our students develop is that of good global citizens. Making learning meaningful for students is always on the minds of teachers, parents, and especially the students themselves. When learning lacks meaning, it is often ineffective. P 291-295 Installation and performance art Installation is set up within a particular space, usually for a limited duration of time. Installation art may involve images, sound, and sculpture as well as new technologies. Installation rely on location or scale to provide an element of surprise or meaning. The value on of viewing or making installation art is the powerful experience of seeing artwork transform a space. Performance art by a visual artist is a live performance that communicates a concept through a dramatic presentation. The performance is often minimalist, and the intention is to unsettle the viewer or help the viewer see something a bit differently. Both installation and performance art may include sculptural pieces, found objects, projected video or still images, text, natural materials, landscape, people and or animals. Begin with a concept or subject of study and challenge and support students in finding new ways of seeing their subject. Encourage students to investigate issues of Importance or concerns to them, such as questions of identity, current affairs This a to itty great Y worked on the fine motor skills and woul Three balls with shadows This project was a great refresher of the colour wheel and was a great way to reintroduce the mixing of colours. For this project students would take a primary colour and paint a ball. Students would then use the colour wheel to find the complete opposite colour to help with the shadowing effect. Students would then mix a little black or which to make this effect pop out more. This project was simple yet taught the necessary skills for shadowing. Ugly/beautiful colours This project worked off the three balls with shadows project. on for him He has lived - Posted by: Judi Cherniak (Friend) on: Mar 13, 2015

So sad for all of you on the loss of your Father/Gido. One of Rory 's first jobs was at Ambrosie Lighting with Mr. B and Jack. He has fond memories of the time he spent there and a lot of great life lessons too. Maybe even managed to do some work. We can't even mention the many times we spent at the Ambrosie home, always made to feel welcome and just one of the boys playing football in the living room. How hard these last few years must have been for all of you. You never want to see anyone suffer but it is just as hard to let them go. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. - Posted by: Rory and Betty () on: Mar 13, 2015
