Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRONALD LESLIE APPLEYARD July 18, 1935 March 12, 2015 Ron and his family are extremely grateful to the numerous staff members from Emergency Medical Services, Brandon Cancer Care, Brandon Hospital, Minnedosa Health Centre, St. Boniface Hospital, Manitoba Cancer Care, and Health Sciences Centre, for the compassionate care that he received during his 28 month journey with Multiple Myeloma. Ron and his family extend their deepest gratitude to the extraordinary staff of Palliative Care Manitoba and the tremendous team of doctors, nurses and caregivers for their unwavering support that enabled Ron to fulfill his wish to be at home during his last days. "I faced it all, and I stood tall; and I did it my way." Ron and his family would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the family, friends and neighbours who tirelessly supported us during this difficult time in our lives. Your kindness and comforting gestures meant the world to us. We will forever be indebted to the people who took time to visit, phone, email, drop off food, and clear snow, as well as to those who helped us transition to Winnipeg. Your generosity and thoughtfulness will never be forgotten. In honour of Ron's memory, should friends desire, memorial donations would be gratefully accepted by any of the above health care organizations. Respecting Ron's wishes we say farewell without a formal service. When I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me, I want no rites in gloom filled room, And not with your head bowed low. Remember the love that we once shared, For this is a journey we must all take And each must go alone. So when you are lonely and sick at heart, Gather your loved ones close, And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds. Miss mebut let me go. VOYAGE FUNERAL HOMES 204-284-7500
