Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATIE BEAKHOUSE Peacefully in her sleep, Katie (Kay) Beakhouse (Soroka) passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2015, at the age of 93, at Calvary Place. She was predeceased by husband Phil, brothers Andy, Mike and Peter, and parents Annie and Nicholas. Left to cherish her memory are children Gary (Norma), Gordon (Barb) and Susan (Jim); grandchildren Brian, Crystal, Erin (Jeff) and Hailee; and her sister Syl Lee. A memorial service will take place at a later date. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Calvary Place staff for their loving care of Mom. My mom's and aunt's childhood friend. Pictures of them taken on the steps of King Edward school on Selkirk avenue. They were north end girls. Always stylish. My mom would tell me stories of their boyfriends. She always sent me birthday cards because our birthdays were only days apart and we were both Scorpios. Rest in Peace dear Kay.
