ELSIE BRAUN November 5, 1929 - March 9, 2015 It is with great sadness, the family announces that our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother peacefully passed away on March 9, 2015, at Concordia Hospital, at the age of 85. Elsie was predeceased by her husband George Braun in June 2014. Elsie is survived by her children Ernie, Hilda (Leo) and Heinz (Lorainne). Her loving grandchildren Cherie, Stacy and Derek (Kelly). The greatest joys of her life were her great grandchildren Toni, Jordan, Kalynne, Brooklynne, Lexxus and Cameron who loved their visits with their Oma. Her loss has left a great void for all those that knew Elsie but especially her family who loved her cooking and famous torte cake. Oma's greatest passion was seeing her grandchildren and her great-grandchild smile. We all enjoyed many sleepovers at Oma & Opa's and loved getting spoiled. Please join us at the memorial service and celebration of Elsie's life on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at North Kildonan Mennonite Church, 1131 Roch St. with viewing prior to the service. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of Concordia Hospital N1 South for their kind, attentive care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC). Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean we'll miss you, until we meet again! While it breaks our hearts to have to lose you, We find comfort in knowing you are exactly where you want to be. Reunited with the love of your life. FRIENDS FUNERAL SERVICE
