With a heavy heart, I'm so sad to say goodbye to one of my favourite neighbours in the world. I moved in next door with my family at about 5, and he introduced himself immediately. Nono (as he insisted we call him) was one of the kindest hearted people in the world. In the winter when I'd get locked out, Nono and Nona both invited me in warmly and poured me a cup of orange soda and let me watch the game show network with them. It was so fun watching them answer question after question, no matter what game show it was. Every year he'd give me some money for my birthday to treat my family and friends to some ice cream which he always told me with a smile. I will never forget his smile or laugh or the way he'd call me or my sisters over to take home some apples from his trees. Nono /is/ one of the best people I will ever know and I will miss him greatly. I'm glad he had a long long life and I know he is resting peacefully. I wish the best to his family and I hope they are healing well. Best Wishes, Jasmine V - Posted by: Jasmine Villanueva (Neighbour of 12 years ) on: Mar 19, 2015
