ANNE BARTEL It is with deep sadness, and great joy that we announce the passing of Anne Bartel from this world into Heaven on March 24, 2015. Although we will always miss her, we are so thankful she is with her Lord and Saviour. Anne was a fierce believer in the Lord, and her faith was her foundation and strength throughout her life. She passed this faith on to her family, and all those around her. Anne radiated indescribable love in all she did without condition, and with so much grace. She always had a smile and hug ready for those around her, and loved to make others feel good and would do so constantly. She will be greatly missed by her husband Reinhold (Ron) Bartel; sister Katie; her cherished daughters Helga, Betty (Kent), and Angie; her beloved grandchildren Andrea (Ben), Jordan, Michelle, and Ryan; and dearly loved extended family. A celebration of her life will be held on April 1, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at Elmwood MB Church, 145 Henderson Highway. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee.
