JEANETTE MERLE SINCLAIR (nee ZIPP) June 28, 1937 - March 24, 2015 God saw you getting tired, when a cure was not to be. He wrapped His arms around you and whispered, come to me. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. Mom is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, James Sinclair, father Otto Zipp and sister Nancy Sullivan, daughters Debbie Staszak (Harvey), Nancy Sinclair and Tracey Esau (Lloyd), and son Bill Sinclair (Brenda). She will be missed by her grandchildren Ashley, Kelvin, Billy, Amber, Sarah and Braeden and great-grandchildren Jaydan, Dhillion and Justin, along with cousins and many nieces and nephews. Jeanette was predeceased by her mother Clementine Zipp, mother-in-law Jessie Andrews, and brother-in-law Lorne Sullivan, along with three brothers-in-law and seven sisters-in-law and their spouses. Mom grew up and attended school in the Elmwood area of Winnipeg, MB. She entered the Royal Canadian Air Force whereupon she met and fell in love with Dad. They married on June 14, 1958 and took up residence in Brandon, MB. We were fortunate that Mom was able to raise her children in our early years. She eventually entered the work force and was employed at Perth's for several years. Mom always stressed the importance of education and she led by example. She often enrolled in courses at Assiniboine Community College to expand her knowledge on office administration. When Mom and Dad moved to Winnipeg, Mom worked as a caregiver at Vista Park Lodge. She took pride in being able to provide comfort, warm words and friendship to the residents of the home. She worked there until her own health began to deteriorate. Mom enjoyed a good joke and liked to laugh. She was funny, generous and honest. She was a loving wife, companion and friend to Dad and her children - whom she cherished. We love you Mom... our guardian angel. - Love Dad and all your kids. A celebration of Mom's life will be held Wednesday, April 1 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Avenue, Winnipeg, MB. VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME 204-668-3151
