GLADYS LILLIAN KRAYNYK (nee DALY) Wife, mother, Baba, of Lac Du Bonnet, MB, at the age of 75, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 28, 2015, at the Health Sciences Centre, surrounded by her family. A 'Celebration of Life' service will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB. The burial will follow at a later date. Gladys was born in Winnipeg, MB in September, 1939. She was married to Paul Kraynyk on November 14, 1959; they were married 55 years. Gladys is survived by: her spouse Paul, children: Rosedale Preteau (Norm), Deborah Froese (Bill), and Trevor Kraynyk (Lori); grandchildren: Ashley, Kyle, Paul, Edina-lil, Chelsey, Kaleigh, Tanner, Dylan, and Brendan; brothers: Morris (Bud) Daly (Lillian) and Patrick Daly (Brenda); sisters-in-law Margaret Olynyk and Ann Kraynyk; brothers-in-law: Bill Kraynyk and Ed Rozwood; and many nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Gladys is preceded in death by: her parents Charles and Lillian, sister Betty, brothers Emery and Edward, stepfather Etienne, mother and father-in-law Katrina and Dmytro, sisters-in-law: Olga Rozwood, Mary (John) Muzyka and Anne (John) Sokoliuk, brothers-in-law Mike, John, Nicholas Kraynyk, and Mike Olynyk. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to a charity of your choice. The family of Gladys Kraynyk wishes to thank everyone for their prayers and kindness at this difficult time. A heartfelt thanks goes to the staff at Health Sciences Centre MICU/CCU for their compassionate care of our mother, Baba and wife.   • So sorry for your loss Paul. My deepest condolences to you and your family at this time. Being from the other side of extended family I didn't know Gladys that well but I was blessed to grow up knowing her dear brothers Emery (Joe) and Pat.
