MARIA LETKEMANN September 24, 1927 - April 9, 2015 Maria (Mary) Letkemann (nee PETERS), aged 87, passed away peacefully at Maples Personal Care Home on April 9, 2015. Left to cherish her memory are her four children Peter, Monica (Perry Solmonson), Carolyn (Tom Nichols) and Linda (Mike Wiebe); her eight grandchildren Lisa, Joel and Jonathan Letkemann; Heidi and Amy Solmonson; Kayla, Jake and Hannah Wiebe; her younger sister Annie (Bill Bergen and family); her two brothers, Helmut Peters and Peter (Rose) Peters and family; her brothers-in-law Jake Baerg (Tina) and family, Henry Hildebrandt (Leni) and family, and Reinhold Jagusch (Neta) and family. Maria devoted her life to family and friends; she was always kind, generous and caring. She will always be remembered and missed. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at North Kildonan Mennonite Church, 1131 Roch St., Winnipeg.
