Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET DEMILLE STEWART Peacefully at St. Joseph's Residence, with her family by her side, Margaret passed away on April 15, 2015. She was 92 years young. Margaret was the last of her family's generation. Margaret is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their families, as well as her dog Mollie. She was predeceased by her parents William and Mary, brothers Bill and Fredrick, sisters Isabella Dunthorne, Mona Kowk and Agnes Balyk. Margaret was dedicated to her job as a bookkeeper for Dents, then as a partner in HMS Foods where she worked till her late 60s when she retired to look after her brother. We would like to thank Elma, Comforts of Home Care staff and St. Joseph's Residence staff for the care and compassion they gave Margaret. A graveside service will be held on April 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Kildonan Presbyterian Cemetery, 2373 Main Street. 204-586-8044

Margaret was a woman that you could not just pass by without acknowledging. I always enjoyed my conversations with her --- her smiling face was often uplifting in otherwise stressful times.
