Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • Dearest Terry & Karen, I heard about your dear parents' ascensions to the afterlife, from my folks years ago. I have sought a way to e-mail, my mode of communication along with real mail. Ron & I have rural dial-up, internet that takes up our landline; no smart phones either. It occurred to me to try Aunt Ann's & Uncle John's memorials. It is my sadness and reluctant honour to pay my respects to them and for Terry & Karen here. Your parents are my parents' close friends, the reason my folks met. I came across a photograph of our folks so healthy, vital, younger than we are! I also smile at my memories of playing with you & Terry when we were tiny. Your parents are remembered by me. Your Dad is fun, with a sparkle in his eyes that he shares with Terry. (No past-tense in my spiritual, non-religious faith)! Reach me at (RonCar(at)Prairie(dot)ca). The e-mail address I tried a month ago accepted my message but perhaps you stopped using it. We are sorry, Karen & Terry, for both losses. It is never too late to send care and a hug. It feels comforting to have old childhood friends, who know and love each others' parents. With love Carolyn, Ron, and our cat children Angel, Petal, Conan. - Posted by: Carolyn Riedel (Terry's & Karen's old friend) on: Nov 04, 2024
