NICOLAS CHOUZOURIS With his wife, children and grandchildren by his side, Nicolas Chouzouris left us on his journey to meet the Lord. Nicolas was born August 15, 1926 in Chios, Greece. He immigrated to Winnipeg in 1974 with his wife and two sons, Demetri and Dino. He worked for many years in the restaurant business - at Juniors and at Acropolis restaurant, along with his brother Emmanuel. Dad was a long standing member of the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church. Nicolas is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Elli; sons, Demetri (Athena) and Dino (Georgia); and grandchildren, Ellie, Chrissoula and Valandi. Prayers will be held Wednesday, April 29 at 7:00 p.m. at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2255 Grant Ave. Funeral service will take place at the same location on Thursday, April 30 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Konstantinos Tsiolas officiating. Interment will follow at Waverley Memorial Gardens.
