SOPHIE DUECK It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Sophie Dueck, on April 29, 2015, at Donwood Manor, at the age of 100 years. Sophie was predeceased by her husband Jakob Dueck and one grandchild Tommy Dueck. Sophie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Henry (Elsie) Dueck, Lilly (Peter) Rempel, Helmi (Reinhalt) Peemoeller, Jake (Elleanor) Dueck, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 1100 a.m. at Elmwood Mennonite Brethren Church, 145 Henderson Highway with Pastor Ken Stoesz officiating. Viewing prior to the service. The service will be followed by a reception and then interment in Green Acres Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Clint Dueck, Jeff Kosnick, Brandon Dueck, Michael Dueck, Jonathan Dueck and Ed Pidwirnyz. God bless all the staff at Donwood 2 South for their compassion, love and support during Sophie's stay at Donwood. She loved you all!
