Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJERALDINE ANNE MCMEEKIN Jerry McMeekin (nee Last) passed away on Friday, April 24, 2015 with family by her side. She was predeceased by the love of her life Roy McMeekin in April 2012. Jerry leaves to mourn her two loving daughters Dianne McMeekin and Jody Florence, as well as her favourite son-in-law Bill Florence, with whom she shared a special relationship. Nana will forever be loved and remembered by her granddaughters Shannon (Shaun Lenton), Shauna McMeekin, and Kristy (Michael Peterson); Grandson Kelly Florence, as well as the five bright lights of her life who made her heart smile, her great-grandsons; Matthew, Liam and Cole Lenton and Jonah and Ronan Peterson. Jerry's family would like to thank Concordia Hospital staff on Third Floor East for the outstanding care they provided. Cremation has taken place and in keeping with Jerry's wishes, there will be no formal service. Her family will forever celebrate Jerry's life. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jerry's memory may be made to Manitoba Special Olympics. "Love you Nan!" Arrangements provided by Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave., Winnipeg, MB.

So sorry to hear of Jerry's passing....my favourite memory of her took place many years ago. Jody, Jerry and I were out shopping in Winnipeg and Jerry was driving. She took a corner pretty fast & close to the sidewalk, where a man was waiting to cross the street.
