JOSE DA COSTA Change in Time of Service It is with heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend on April 30, 2015. Born in Ponta Delgada, Açores, Jose was predeceased by his parents Joao and Adelaide, brother Joao and niece Susana. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife of 62 years Antonieta; daughters Lucilla (Carlos), Trindade and Rosa; grandchildren Isabel (Jeff), Chris and Chantelle (Jose); great-grandchildren Nicholas, Hunter, Carter and Alysia; sister Maria (Manuel); nieces and nephews, both here and in Açores and Portugal, Ligia (Tussilo), Jose, Gabriela (Joao), Carlos (Mary), Clara (Mario), Joao (Alexandra), Carmen (Tony), John (Michelle) as well as many great-nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. He will also be greatly missed by those who thought of him as a father and grandfather, Manuela (Jim), Lisa, Michael and Ava. We would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Health Sciences Centre on GH7 for the loving and compassionate care we received. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba in his name. Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, 4588 Roblin Blvd. Interment Assumption Cemetery.   • I am sorry to hear of Mr. DaCosta's passing. He was a great neighbour to my mother and when I visited Winnipeg from Niagara Falls I always enjoyed talking and visiting with him at his home.
