Dearest Jimmy A lot of my heart went with you, when you sailed off towards your newest adventure Jimmy, ...and this empty space will only be filled again when we next meet. I feel with this, I speak for most of our family, and for all who were fortunate enough to know you. You have been a very intelligent and guiding light through many of life's ventures; with a big heart, great sense of humor and nothing but a joy to be around. We've all been enriched by you, dearest Jimmy, dearest brother. Till we meet again . . . - Posted by: Grace inga Sigurdson (sister) on: Jan 16, 2016

My condolences to all the family, especially my friends Sandra and Gracie. My brother Rick was Jim's best buddy for so many years. (Rick passed away 3 years ago today.) Try to remember all the good times and you will have wonderful memories! Much love to you all. Carol - Posted by: Carol Manton Grange (Friend) on: May 08, 2015

Jim was like a brother I never had. When I first hanging around with Dave at his Moms place.. He took me aside to give scold me about being a bad influence on David with the partying skipping school and so forth.. Many times he put on his Big brother and father figure hat. Over the years I gained so much respect for Jim and Murray and the entire Sigurdson family for that matter. His Pritchard Ave basement. Jim asked for a couple of days hard labor hauling dirt out of his 3/4 basement. The end result turned into countless nights of playing music every Friday night in his basement. The only other thing he ever asked in return was to sit down and drum to 3 songs while he rested his drink on the floor tom…LOL Shortly before I was married..Both Linda and I asked Jim to come over and look at a bank foreclosure sale on Alexander Ave We asked for his advise and asked him outright. 'Do you think we should buy this gutted old house. Smoke in hand …If you do this,go here buy this..I can take care of this Yeah ... you guys can do this.. The next thing you know we were home owners… Jimmy was quite the guy …Cars…..Mechanic.. Body man..drummer…the Jack of all trades. I am so fortunate to have experienced his wisdom, guidance , generosity over the course of our friendship. Linda and I will both miss him dearly.. - Posted by: Tim and Linda Miyai (Friends ) on: May 07, 2015
