Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAUL VICTOR DUTKEWICH March 28, 1923 May 5, 2015 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, father-in-law and grandfather, Paul Dutkewich. He was predeceased by his beloved son Brent, his sisters Frances Strembicky and Mary Skiba and brothers Frank Oberick, Mike Dutkewich and John Duke. Paul will be lovingly remembered by his wife Eleanor of 66 years, daughter-in-law Debra (Brent) Dutkewich, his adored granddaughter Katie Dutkewich, sister Sally Kwiatkowski (Lou) and his sisters-in-law Olga Oberick (Frank) and Scotty Dutkewich (Mike), along with numerous nieces and nephews. Paul worked for E.J. Dixon's for 42 years where he excelled as a furnace and air conditioner installer and repairman. He was a Jack of all trades. As a child, he always found a better way to do things; an ability he carried throughout his adult life. Friends and family regularly called upon him for help in all manner of household problems and he was always glad to help. Paul, along with his wife Eleanor were lifelong Jets fans, holding season tickets for the WHA Jets and first installment of the NHL Jets. He enjoyed a lengthy coaching career with the Melrose Community Centre where his son Brent played hockey and soccer. Paul enjoyed going on family picnics and fishing trips in his earlier years. He always inspired a great sense of community with his neighbours; paving driveways, building garages, etc. It is always hard to say goodbye to a loyal friend. Paul will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, May 9 at 11:00 a.m. at the Polish National Catholic Church of St. Mary's, 361 Burrows Ave. Interment will follow at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Cemetery in Cooks Creek, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Polish National Catholic Church of St. Mary's or a charity of your choice in Paul's memory. VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME 204-668-3151

Aunt Eleanor and family - so sorry to hear of uncle Paul's passing. I moved to B.C. Over 40 years ago, but remember uncle Paul as a kind and caring man. I don't visit Manitoba very often since my dad's passing in 2004, but still keep in close touch with my brother, Bob. I remember having dinner with my family at your home when my daughter, Kerri, was a baby. She has recently obtained PHD funding from the university of Edinburgh and is now living in Scotland. Again, sorry for your loss. Dennis, Vera and Kerri Wazny - Posted by: Dennis Wazny (Nephew) on: May 12, 2015
