RONALD ANDERSON It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Thor Anderson on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at age 70. Ronald was predeceased by his parents Grimsey and Annie, and his brother Alexander. He is survived by his sisters Audrey (John) and Nancy (Mike), twin sons Kevin (Shawna) and Keith, his daughter Heather (Allen), as well as his grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The youngest of four children, Ron was born on June 3, 1944 in Gimli, MB and lived on the family farm in Winnipeg Beach, moving to Winnipeg as a young teenager. After leaving Elmwood High School, Ron spent a few years working with CN before becoming a Firefighter with the City of Winnipeg, where he retired in 1998 after 30 years of service. Ron loved golfing, listening to country music, socializing and always had lots of funny stories to share, which will be missed by everyone. Be at peace Stumpy, we love you. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson Hwy. on Tuesday, May 12 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Society. • WE will miss all the laughter, smiles, parties and traveling we did with you and Ann. The last eleven years went by so quickly. We will always remember the last time we took you to the beach and how happy you were, we wish we were able to do more. We watched you suffer for the past few years and while you never complained our hearts were breaking to watch you suffer. I (Judy) will especially miss all our FATHER TO DAUGHTER talks. Our grandkids especially will miss you and your laughter, stories and smiles. When we meet again, we will share my white wine and your maple rye and play a few old country songs. We would also like to thank the staff of Brummitt-Feasby Als House for Ronnie's care this past year. - Posted by: Judy and Roger Bamburak (Friends) on: May 10, 2015
