They are survived by their daughter Barbara Stupar; grandson John (Sara); great-grandchildren, Xena and Jakob; son Robert (Helaine) of Chilliwack, BC; sisters, Louise Rose of Selkirk and Joan Cooper of Cambridge, ON. They were predeceased by their son Gerry in May of 2008. Mom and dad met at school in Selkirk and had been together and in love for almost 70 years. They had celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in September of 2014. A Celebration of their Life and Love will be held at the Selkirk United Church, McLean Avenue, on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Donations for those who wish, may be made to the Heart and Stroke MB or CancerCare MB.
