Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHELEN FAHNENSCHMIDT It is with sadness we announce the passing of my mother Helen Fahnenschmidt (nee Trzmiel) who passed on May 16, 2015. Helen was born in Germany in 1929, worked as a registered nurse in Germany and Switzerland. She came to Winnipeg in 1954 where she worked at the former municipal hospital (now Riverview Health Centre) for several years. She married Hubert in 1959. They had one daughter Anita. She will be greatly missed by Anita. Helen was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church and also a member of the Kolping Society. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 22 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 355 Andrews Street at Mountain Avenue with viewing at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main Street.
