LEON WITTMAIER Unexpectedly, yet peacefully on May 22, 2015, Leon passed away at home, at the age of 81 years. Predeceased by his parents and one sister, Leon will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Margita; daughters, Ruth (Leo), Betty (Bruno); grandchildren, Theresa (Derek), Rita (Curtis), Christina (TJ), Janice and Kevin; great-grandchildren, Joel, Cayden, Livia, Schalin, Islay, Riley and Makaila; also Leon's brother Arthur (Tina). Leon was a longtime member of Mission Baptist Church, where he served in many different capacities. Funeral service on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Mission Baptist Church, 771 Sargent Avenue, with viewing prior to the service. Interment to follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in Leon's memory may be made to Mission Baptist International Foundation, available at the service. FRIENDS FUNERAL SERVICE 204-339-5555
