MARCIN MERTA May 13, 1979 May 21, 2015 We are saddened to announce the passing of Marcin Merta on Thursday, May 21, 2015 with his family by his side. He is survived by his parents Ewa and Andrzej, sister Magda, brother Krzsztof, grandmother Wieslawa and many other family in Poland. He also leaves to mourn his loving partner Rachel as well as many other family, friends and co-workers. Marcin was born in Wieruszow, Poland and immigrated to Canada with his family at age 14. For the last 20 years he worked at Mackow Industries which became a second home and family for him. Marcin was generous, hardworking and outgoing and he was welcomed into the families of everyone he knew. He will be greatly missed and always loved. We would like to thank the ICU staff at HSC and the St. Boniface Hospital for all their care and support. Prayers will be said at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27 at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue with interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery.
