Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAMBER NICOLE ARMETTE July 21, 1980 - June 1, 2015 With heavy hearts, Amber our angel, passed away peacefully while in a coma after sustaining irreversible brain damage. She was surrounded by her immediate family at her time of death. Despite the various health issues she had encountered throughout her life, she was a strong willed, positive and determined woman. Some of her favourite pastimes included playing cards, portraying the role of a second mother and bashing her wheelchair into walls. She enjoyed attending her day program at S.P.I.K.E. and her physiotherapy sessions with John were the highlights of her week. She was an avid Blue Bombers fan and loved going to her brother's football games. Amber had a heart of gold and touched so many lives. Amber is survived by her father Lorne; mother Wendy; brother Craig; two grandmothers and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her grandfathers, Joe Hunnie and Walter Armette. A memorial service will be held Friday, June 5, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. The family would like to thank all the staff at Home Care. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Cropo Funeral Chapel, 204-586-8044

I worked with Amber as her teaching assistant when she was in elementary school. She was such a sweet girl. She had a great laugh and always seemed happy to be at school with the other children. I haven't seen her in years - but when I heard about her passing - a lot of wonderful memories came to mind. My condolences to her family. - Posted by: Lorraine Sitar (teaching assistant to Amber) on: Sep 14, 2015
