Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySHERRY LYNN VINCENT-FRANKLIN November 4, 1960 - June 5, 2015 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Sherry. Sherry, daughter of George and Violet Holowinski, was born in Beausejour Hospital. Sherry is survived by her precious children, Troy, Carena (Peter), Kyle (Kim); and her dearly loved grandchildren, Sierra and Charles, Caspian and Angell. Sherry is also survived by her loving mother Violet (Larry); brother George (Gisele); sister Wendy (Robert). She is also survived by all her loved nephews and nieces, great-nephews and nieces; and special family friend and godmother Ruby. Sherry was predeceased by her loving Dad George (1990), and her beloved sister Carol and brother in-law Bob (1995). Sherry worked at East Gate Lodge as a health aide for 20 years. She loved looking after everyone, especially her family. She loved cooking big meals at holiday times, gardening and rock painting, just to name a few things. Sherry was dearly loved, will be sorely missed and always remembered. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 13, at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Ave. E. in Beausejour, Manitoba. Seeing that Sherry loved colour, please feel free to wear something bright and colourful. In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully appreciated, in Sherry's memory, to a charity of your choice. I worked with Sherry at EGL and loved working with her, our shift seemed to always fly by. She had such a caring spirit and always was thinking and putting others first. Sherry was a kind an affirming person who was always gentle in her care with those who depended on her. Her laugh was infectious. She just was a hard worker committed to her work to better the lives of Residents and her family and friends. She was always so proud of her children and loved living life the best she could. My condolences to the family for losing a daughter, mother, sister and grandmother so early in life with so much more to offer especially as a grandmother. I always remember delivering papers to the family home and being so afraid of their dog at the time. Isn't it funny what one remembers. Knowing that Sherry worked at East Gate Lodge tells me that this was a woman who tried to make a difference. Hopefully, this was apreciated and respected. I am so sorry for your loss. I am so sorry that we didn't get together more but that's how life is. Everyone does their own thing forgetting how quickly a life can end. Your mom loved you all very much and I'm sure her last thoughts were of you "kids". Your mom struggled with her illnesses and now shes at peace.
