STEFANIA MUROWANY Peacefully, Stefania passed away at the age of 93 years. Stefania was born on January 28, 1922 in the Ukraine. She immigrated to Canada with her husband Peter in 1948. Stefania was an active member of her church, and extremely generous to all who knew her. She always stressed the importance of family. She was predeceased by her parents, brother and husband. Stefania leaves to cherish her memory her cousin, Henry, godchild Andrew (Jennifer) Jason, godchild Jennifer (Glen Bonne) and nephews, Johnathon, Brady, Tyler, Chloe, as well as Jonathon and Melanie, relatives in the Ukraine, the United States and Winnipeg. Stefania was a member of the Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church. The family wishes to thank Dr. Ormiston and the staff on the Third Floor North (317B) at Concordia General Hospital for their kindness and care. Funeral Liturgy was celebrated on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church with Father Bohdan Lukie officiating. STEFANIA MUROWANY Peacefully at Concordia Hospital on Saturday, June 6, 2015, Stefania Murowany, aged 93 of Winnipeg. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 11 at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Munroe Avenue at Watt Street. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery.
