Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARTHA GREENWOOD (nee ABRAHAMS) January 24, 1957 - June 10, 2015 Martha passed away holding the hands of both her husband, Maxim, and her sister Maggie. Martha was predeceased by her parents Kornelius and Sara Abrahams, her sister Kaethe, and her niece Rebecca. She is survived by her siblings Elvira (Martin) Sudfeld, Maggie (Gerry) Kramer, Anna (John) Pauls, Harry (Catherine) Abrahams, Luise Abrahams, Beate Abrahams-Bolen and Ruth Kroker, and many nieces and nephews. Martha was a dedicated teacher throughout the north for 17 years. At her request a longer obituary will be read at her funeral service. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 13 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Aidan's Anglican Church, 274 Campbell St. Friends Funeral Service, 204-339-5555

You do not know us, but Peter is Martha's cousin. He has known her longer than I have. She met a couple of years ago at Curves, where we both were members, and connected there. We had not been in touch for quite awhile before that. She was already battling cancer, but was always willing to chat awhile. She was always friendly and smiling. We are deeply sorry for your loss.
